Our Services

4-POINT INSPECTION~(Generally required by most carriers on 20+ years old dwelling/homes).

A “Four Point” inspection is needed to satisfy insurance carrier requirements. It is a much shorter inspection than a full home inspection, pre-listing inspection, or commercial inspection. One of our inspectors will assess only certain aspects of the following (4) home systems:

ROOF

Inspection of overall condition. Specifics are not noted. Insurance companies will use the results of the inspection to determine if the home is insurable. You may need to schedule other types of inspections, make repairs, or even arrange for replacements to obtain insurance.

PLUMBING

Inspector evaluates plumbing by running water in sinks and showers and by flushing toilets. Visual inspection of the water heater and run a heating temperature test.

ELECTRICAL

Visual inspection of the electrical panel, checking for adequate power supply and proper wiring. Test GFCI-protected outlets.

HVAC

Inspector conducts a visual inspection and does a temperature adjustment test to make sure the unit is functioning at industry standards.

Wind Mitigation

A wind mitigation inspection is usually required by an insurance company to determine the stability of the structure of a home or commercial building in the case of a wind event. Certified inspectors evaluate a building’s potential to withstand high winds based on the following criteria: *Roof Covering *Roof Deck Construction *Roof Deck Clips/ Straps * Reinforced Doors *Hurricane Shutters Or Window Protection * Impact Resistant Openings * Glass & Openings to Homes * Age of the home * Building Codes in place at the time of construction * Age of Roof and documentation that roof was built to code at time of construction *Method of attachment of roof to truss/ rafters / walls*Presence of a secondary water resistance barrier
